The School Day at Kiwi

8.35am The gates to both playgrounds will open. EYFS & KS1 children entering the gate from Hubert Hamilton Road, KS2 children entering the gate from the Malborough Road. 

8.40am Doors to school building will open and children are to enter the classrooms through their doors. 

8.55 School begins and register is taken. 

10.30-10.45 Breaktime

12.00- 1.00 Lunchtime 

3.10pm School ends and children can be collected by parents from the playgrounds. KS2 children with permission to walk home will be allowed to do so. 

 

School Uniform 

As a school, with over 95% service pupils, we have always aimed to keep uniform expenses to a minimum.  We ask that pupils wear a royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan which has the school logo embroidered on it, however the logo is not essential. The sweatshirts with logo can be sourced from Michael Hope. 

We ask for that pupils wear grey trousers or skirts, white polo shirts and summer dresses are either striped or checked royal blue and white. 

We suggest a white round neck t-shirt and black or blue shorts for PE and ask that pupils have a tracksuit to wear for PE outside in the winter. 

Coats, bags and shoes are at the discretion of parents, but we ask that they are appropriate for school wear.

Wellingtons are recommended when pupils take part in Forest Schools.

It is asked that long hair is tied back appropriately, earrings should be of the studded variety and not dangling and need to be able to be removed for PE lessons or covered with tape.  This is for health and safety reasons.
